CLEAR VISION Contemporary Jazz group Clear Vision, featuring Bassist - Tyrone Mack, Keyboard / Saxophonist Willie Wilson, Steven Samuel/guitarist and guest artists performs intimate smooth jazz duets to create a relaxing atmosphere. Their compositions are selected from a repertoire of contemporary jazz standards as well as their own originals. Their style of music will remind you of such smooth jazz artists as Kenny G.,Wayman Tisdale, Kirk Whalum, Norman Brown and Jeff Lorber. Tyrone Mack strong bass tones and Steven Samuel guitar lines flow smoothly within the soprano sax and harmonic chops of saxophonist/keyboard player Willie Wilson. They perform a variety of music from originals to cover tunes from such artists as Duke Ellington, Dave Brubeck, Jeff Lorber, Kenny G, Sting, Spyro Gyra, Herbie Hancock, Anita Baker, Norah Jones, Al Jarreau, Earth Wind and Fire, Steely Dan, Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Kurt Franklin, Fred Hammond and etc. Tyrone Mack was a former member of smooth jazz group "Common Interest" and is considered one the best bassist in SC. Steve Samuel is multi-diminsional Berkley School of Music guitarist. Willie Wilson has been on the cutting edge of smooth jazz sound with his smooth jazz compositions and his music can be heard on radio station as far as Texas to Spain. Clear Vision is centered on Tyrone, Steven and Willie but the group is expandable to a five-piece member band or more depending on the musical environment from small settings to large events. The musical passions of theses artists are very evident in their live performances. What a Dynamic group! Their sound is exciting to the soul yet calming to the spirit.
